Developing operations manuals requires in-depth operational expertise because complying with the numerous regulatory requirements may be rather challenging.

Do you require a manual to apply for an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) with an aviation authority? If you answered yes, we can help with that. Our team can support and facilitate your manual creation towards obtaining an AOC making it a much smoother process.

Ever-changing regulations can make even the smartest operators pale; manuals require regular updating, particularly MELs (Minimum Equipment Lists) which are an essential part of the Operations Manual Part-B. We specialise in assuring your manuals are in line with current requirements.

Members of the QuAero team, apart from being experienced ‘users’ of these manuals, have been heavily involved in the creation and updating of such manuals for several well known operators. We also provide specialists in the field of development and revision of Minimum Equipment Lists for Airbus aircraft.

We issue Operations Manuals in separate parts corresponding to specific aspects of your operations. A complete manual contains these four parts (but each can also be ordered separately):

Part A. General/Basic. This part comprises all non type-related operational policies, instructions and procedures needed for a safe operation.

Part B. Aeroplane Operating Matters. This part comprises all type-related instructions and procedures needed for a safe operation. It takes account of any differences between types, variants or individual aeroplanes used by the operator.

Part C. Route and Aerodrome Instructions and Information. This part comprises all instructions and information needed for the area of operation.

Part D. Training. This part comprises all training instructions for personnel required for a safe operation.

Every manual is produced in a clear and easy to read style, compliant with regulatory requirements and in a timely manner. We can also go deeper, provide further detail and elaboration if your organisation requires this. Documents are delivered in PDF and/or XML format as per your request.

Meet QuAero.

Alan Muscat (second left) is the Company Director. After a successful career with the Maltese flag carrier as a Captain, he is responsible for QuAero Research and Innovation. Joseph, Karl, and Mark all occupy important roles in the organization. Joseph Markham (first left) is the goto person in charge of Safety Management and Crew Resource Management. Karl Falzon (second right) as Head of Company Operations, oversees the day-to-day running of QuAero. Mark Soler (right) takes care of company finances. Notwithstanding the assigned roles, everyone is flexible and takes on different responsibilities in the projects which QuAero is involved in.

Smart FDM

QuAero participates in a public dissemination event showcasing the results of the project. QuAero, as part of the SmartFDM consortium, participated at a public event to showcase the preliminary results of the SmartFDM project. The project was led by Dr Robert Camilleri from the Institute of Aerospace Technologies in collaboration of Dr Gianluca Valentino from the Dept. of Communications and Computer Engineering and QuAero Ltd as subject matter experts.
