Safety Manuals

Developing Safety Management System (SMS) manuals requires operational expertise, because achieving compliance with the numerous regulatory requirements can be rather challenging.

If you’re applying for an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) with an aviation authority you’re going to need a Safety Management System manual as part of the requirements. Our team can support and facilitate your  manual creation towards obtaining an AOC by keeping you in line with current requirements.

The Safety Management System manual comprises a number of different sections describing the safety processes inside the company.  These must be applied ( to different degrees) depending on the complexity of the operation.

These sections are:

  1. Safety policy and objectives
  2. Safety risk management
  3. Safety assurance
  4. Safety promotion

Apart from being experienced ‘users’ of these manuals, members of the Quaero team have been heavily involved in the creation and updating of SMS manuals for several operators. We have  also trained nominated members of staff on the application of these safety management systems.

Every manual is produced in a clear and easy to read style, compliant with regulatory requirements and in a timely manner. We can also go deeper, provide further detail and elaboration if your organisation requires this. Documents are delivered in PDF and/or XML format as per your request.

We have extensive experience creating manuals for EASA-based operators.

Prices vary based on the level of detail and expertise required. Contact us on services@quaero.aero for a free consultation and quotation
